Monday massacres: Blu joy
This stuff is brought to you by:

Big tings a gwan. Big tings a gwan.

This particular one is about gloating. And drooling. Step aside mate, I don’t want to goo your shoes. Or your slippers Carsozy. Word from the bulging grapevine has it that Carsozy joined some military outfit…he couldn’t take the humiliating beat-down he got from a spited ex…(sigh)…a woman scorned.
Yes, this one is about drooling. About the joys I received on Friday. From three ladies. AT THE SAME TIME!! Here, here hater (patting the chap on the back), here’s a cup of water…and here’s some super dip, go drown your sorrows. And with every tear of hateration, think about the action I got…leave now. (He limps off).
Three ladies gave me action on Friday. All at once. For the better part of two hours. Blu 3, thank you…I had the time of my life. I’ll scream it on every anthill I can find…these girls rocked. The show, every cent was worth it…first off, it was live. Complete with a band. In that sense alone, the fact that I have gone for so many of these things and the sod you paid to see is on stage, screaming above the din ‘DJ, play number two’ before proceeding to lipsync/mime/run-around-stage. Granted, singing on stage is quite demanding, but dude, so is paying all that moola to come see you ‘perform’.
Blu 3 had a band, the girls divided the performance into sets, changing into even sexier costumes with each set; the girls really put time into their choreography, every single song had its own choreography, the interludes were punctuated with ballet dancers, and bloody talented ones at that. And the band, the band knew its ish…and they had backup singers. Who does that in Ug? Backup singers? And before they came onto stage(a really well-laid stage, Silk events, click here to pay), there was this really elaborate skit, stage all dark, hooded figures dancing with flashlights, and then the girls come on, lights hitting them from behind, outlining curves only…(sigh)
They took time off and practiced their asses off for the show, and it showed. Out of breath at the end of the show, I felt they had really given their all. The athlete who went all out. The one who knew that “Hey, most Ugandans don’t even come close to a medal at these games but I’ll put in 200% nonetheless”.
My respect for these girls, their professionalism, their care for detail, their avoiding the bandwagon, their stage presence, their voices, ….. The bar has been raised, and yes, I’ll be that deranged guy at the show hurling carefully-selected expletives at the performer at the next crappy show they shove our way…
And for what Mya lacks in singing (honestly though, she probably is a better than average singer, the problem is she is overly dwarfed by the very polished singers Lillian and Jackie)…, yes, for what she lacks, she overly makes up for in dancing. She did a mean MJ thing, a mean mean straight MJ dance session complete with crotch grabbing…
And yes, I have read a number of reviews saying yada yada…as always, opinions vary. Yes erique, calm down, here’s the eye candy…
